About us
Al-Fudul Orphan Aid is an NGO that intends to support Orphan children and poor families in need, especially widows and single mothers in their daily struggles to take care of their children and families.
Founded in 2014, Al-Fudul Orphan Aid has successfully implemented various projects, such as building wells for drinking-water provision, expansion of elementary schools and provision with equipment, expansion of mosques and sponsorship of orphan children and families in need etc.
All our projects are based on the principal “helping people help themselves” and taking care of everything ourselves on site is very important to us.
We also intend to create perspectives for the future and accompany the people that we support into financial and self-determined independence.
Our Dream
Al-Fudul Orphan Aid follows a dream: We wish to create a loving home and surrounding for orphans and homeless children and also offer them a good school-education and later on a training and job perspective for the future.
Building an Orphan Centre in Accra, we will try to fulfill this dream. The Orphan Centre will be school and training centre in one and also contain
sleeping facilities for homeless children and a place to stay for the meantime for orphans.
It will be a place, where they are being taken good care of, where they are provided with food, clothes and medical care and social workers will help them take care of various issues. It will create a perspective with good education and invest in a better future for them. We have already bought a plot and have started the building-process in June 2020. Our Projects
We also offer for all our projects a project-sponsorship. A projectsponsorship gives you the opportunity to support a project or a sub-project monthly with an amount you prefer. Therefore it is possible to participate on the construction of a well or support school projects and orphan aid
Schoolproject
We support primary schools, Arabic schools and also children and there families with technical equipment, furnishings and school materials
Ramadan Packages
Every year we distribute nutrion packages for needy families. It is also possible to sacrifice an animal on the day of Eid, which will be distributed among the needy families
Well project
The construction of wells for local communities, which yo not have proper access to constant water shall ensure the provision with pure drinking water
Mosque project
We support small mosques with the expansion of their buildings, redevelopment and equipment( lamps, carpets etc.)
Kurban
For the days of Eid, Al-Fudul Orphan Aid offers the opportunity to donate money in order to ensure that needy families get access to meat and food
